Our 3D printing department is well equipped. We have 5 Ultimaker S5, plus a material station and 3 Ultimaker S2+. Ultimaker are 3D printers that create physical objects from a CAD template assigned to it with heated filament. Various materials can be used as filament. Common in the HyLeC is the use of PLA. The room supervisor will be happy to assist you in selecting the material.

3D models are created with the slicing software Cura and saved as a gcode file. The file can be saved on a USB stick and connected to the printer. USB sticks are available at the HyLeC.
