Results of a final thesis presented at HyLeC

In his final thesis (rehabilitation education), Lion examined whether the self-learning unit for 3D printing is also usable and helpful for people with cognitive impairments. To this end, he conducted a user experience study in which people with cognitive impairments who work in a WfB (workshop for disabled people) tested the HyLeC materials.

The self-learning unit for 3D printing was also well received by the target group. The examiners coped well with the navigation in the slides. The alternation of text, images and video was positively emphasized. However, there were still some terms from common usage that were not understandable for the target group. On the other hand, everyone was satisfied with the explanations of the technical terms.
