Decker

One of the tools we provide is the open source program "Decker", which can be used to create and present interactive HTML slide sets as an alternative to PowerPoint or LaTeX projectors.

For example, lecture slides can be created that contain self-study units, dynamic visualizations or quizzes. During the presentation, you can work with a digital whiteboard and record the lecture.

Of course, students can also use the software in a variety of ways, seamlessly integrating explanatory videos or interactive demo programs supported by modern web browsers.

An important focus of the software is accessibility! For example, German and English subtitles are automatically generated during the video recording and the Decker slides are generally (pre-)readable for screen readers.

Take a look at the presentation below and discover the varied functions!
