We have three new dates for you where you can get to know our technology, try it out and use it to create something creative!

We start on 29.11.2023 with "Robots at HyLeC - From Art to Gambling" From 11:00-17:00 you will get your first insights into the world of robotics and automation using the programmable robot balls Sphero Bolt.

  • Create your own work of art to take home.
  • Drive through self-designed courses and duel in races.
  • Get suggestions and ideas on what you can do with robots.
  • Get to know simple ways of controlling and programming robots.
  • Use the various sensors on the futuristic sphere to take your technical skills in robotics, electronics and programming to a new level.

The second theme day will take place on 06.12.2023. At "From switch to robot" from 10:00-13:00 you can get a first impression of some of our materials in the HyLeC on the subject of robotics and microcontrollers. Our humanoid robot Nao, small programmable mini-robots (Sphero Bolt and Blue-Bot), automated brushes and more invite you to get to know them, try them out and exchange ideas.

From 14:00-17:00 we will work in a small project group on the path from a simple electronic switch to a simple robot controlled by microcontrollers.

On 13.12.2023 it's all about "The smart alarm system - Raspberry vs Arduino". In the morning from 10:00-13:00 you can get an overview of our materials in the HyLeC on the topic "Microcontroller". The focus will be on the Raspberry Pi and the Arduino.

In the afternoon from 14:00-17:00 we want to build a small smart alarm system in 2 teams and program it ourselves. Your creativity is required! Depending on your previous knowledge, we will of course support you step by step! Team Raspberry will compete against Team Arduino and we will take a look at the differences between the boards and programming languages.

Previous knowledge is not necessary!

The theme days take place during the opening hours of the HyLeC. No registration required!

More detailed information can be found on the respective event page under "Workshops".
