Embroidery machine – Easy Start

Begin: End: Location: HyLeC
Event type:
  • Workshop

Dealing with theoretical contents and the practical commissioning, as well as learning how to handle the embroidery machine independently.

In this three-hour workshop you will learn the safe and independent handling of the embroidery machine “PR680W” from Brother. It is a six-needle embroidery machine with speed and acceleration at industry level. The equipment includes a generous flat work surface of 200 x 300 mm, a selection of 763 predefined embroidery patterns and decorative fonts.

During the workshop you will study the theoretical contents and commissioning of the embroidery machine and will independently embroider a self-designed* or prefabricated logo or text on a piece of fabric. So you get your own embroidered giveaway and are ready to work independently with the embroidery machine in the future.

The general safety training for the HyLeC room as well as a device-specific training with a final test is a mandatory requirement for participation.

*Note: If you want to use a self-designed pattern on the machine, you will need to develop it yourself in advance with the help of our digital self-learning unit on Inkscape and Ink/Stitch.

It is a hybrid offer; the workshop can be attended on site at HyLeC as well as online. Modern technical equipment and the digital preparation of the content ensure that all participants – whether online or in person – are brought into a common exchange and complete the workshop as a common group.
