In this three-hour workshop, you will learn how to safely and independently use the Brother PR680W embroidery machine. This is a six-needle embroidery machine with industrial-level speed and acceleration. The equipment includes a generous flat work surface of 200 x 300 mm a selection of 763 preset embroidery patterns and decorative fonts.

During the workshop, you will learn the theoretical content and how to start up the embroidery machine and embroider your own designed* or pre-designed logo or text on a piece of fabric. This way you will receive your own embroidered giveaway and be ready to work independently with the embroidery machine in the future.

General safety instruction for the HyLeC room and machine specific instruction with a final test is a mandatory requirement for participation.

*Note: If you want to use a self-designed pattern on the machine, you must develop it independently in advance using our digital self-study unit on Inkscape and Ink/Stitch.

This is a hybrid offering; you can participate in the workshop both on-site at HyLeC and online. Modern technical equipment and the digital preparation of the content ensure that all participants - whether online or in person - are brought into a common exchange and complete the workshop as a joint group.
